Launch I/O: Build Real-World Agents with io.intelligence

Building AI agents shouldn't require piecing together fragmented APIs or burning budget on overpriced inference. Launch I/O, a 35-day hackathon from io.net, gives developers hands-on experience building autonomous agents with io.intelligence.

io.intelligence gives builders of all experience levels a unified toolkit for agent building. Through a single API, io.intelligence lets you access 30+ open-source models, built-in RAG with document grounding, and

agent orchestration tools. I/O Launch is your chance to show the world what you’re capable of.

The competitive track challenges teams to build "Autonomous Agents in the Real World", or tools that perform real-world tasks like crypto analysis, research automation, or content generation. The beginner track introduces the Agent Workflow Editor through guided exploration and video submissions.

Participants get pre-built templates, API keys, comprehensive documentation, and Discord support.

$6,500 in Prizes + Ecosystem Access

Launch I/O offers $6,500 in cash prizes plus 14,000 IO Credits. First place earns $3,000 plus $7,000 in credits. Five honorable mentions receive $200 each with $1,000 in credits. Even beginners can earn $100 for quality framework explanations.

Winning projects join io.net's growing ecosystem through IOG Foundation's developer network, including grants and beta programs.

Registration opens June 17, building runs July 1-14, and judging occurs July 21. Whether building solo or in teams of up to five, participants get 14 days to build.
